Happy New Year and thank you so much for your donation to Loaves & Fishes. Without you we could not help the many people coming in to us seeking food. I appreciate all that you do for us. Please continue to help us help those in need.

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Mt. May this New Year find us fully fascinated once again with the glory of Christ our Savior!

Rev. Lee Ellis would like to thank the Mt. Pleasant Church Family for all the cards, calls, and most of all prayers during his recovery after his accident. It has been a slow recovery process and he is not completely healed yet. Also thanks for the prayers for his wife, Evelyn, during her eye treatments recently.

As the receptor of a prayer shawl. I want to thank the Prayer Shawl Ministry. I take comfort in knowing that there are caring people like you. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you again and God bless you.

Thanks to all of you who got gifts, volunteered and helped deliver the gifts to West Market Street UMC for the Christmas Store. It was a great success and all of you helped to make it succeed. You made many families so happy to have Christmas for their Children. There were often tears of joy and gratitude that people would give so much. I will post a letter of appreciation in the Narthex on the easel bulletin board from Elizabeth Montgomery who heads this store for West Market Street UMC. Please take time to read it and like me you may tear up too. Thanks again so much.
Darlene Rierson

We would like to a very special welcome and thank you to Rev. Aaron Moss, former interim pastor here at Mt. Pleasant, for bringing our message Sunday January 1 and for being on call for pastoral duties while Pastor Chuck is on vacation. Also thanks to our 2012 Lay Leader, Chuck Dixon, for his part in the service.

To our church family: John and I would like to thank everyone for their cards and prayers during my recent stay in the hospital and rehab. I was so blessed to have so many people praying for me. I am doing better, but it is a slow process.
Love, John and Virginia Pope

Our love for the church family goes beyond words, and your expression of love during the death of our father is greatly appreciated. We pray that God's ministry will continue to grow through your love and care. Thanks for all the cards, visits, food and most of all your prayers. God bless you all.

Thank you so much for your wonderful gift. I know you are just like us, whizzing through the month so fast and trying to keep up. Please know that you are very much appreciated and that you make everything we do possible. Lot of love comes your way. Thanks again!
Brenda, Loaves & Fishes

Marie Franck and her family wish to thank all those who helped her celebrate her 90th birthday. Your visits, calls, cards and attendance at the family celebration meant more to Marie than you can ever know.
Marie Franck

Thanks to all who supported our spaghetti dinner and magic show last Sunday night with your prayers, presence, donations, and labor. Hopefully everyone received a special blessing from the event. Several visitors were in attendance, and several people responded to Pastor King's invitation to accept Christ. Your generous donations covered all expenses, a love offering for Pastor King, and a contribution to our youth supporting Marcella in South America.
Your Evangelism Committee

Nancy Gerlach would like to thank everyone for all the cards, calls, and prayers during her recent surgery and recovery.
Nancy Gerlach
